Yesterday (Saturday) I went to Yesterday’s Treasures in Palmerston North!
I was struggling to find a good way to broach to Hubby that I absolutely HAD to go and there was no question about the travel up to palmy etc …
so when his brother invited us up (he lives in Palmy) for drinks and desserts on sat night it was the prefect excuse to get up for Yesterday’s Treasures!!!
I dragged my poor girls along with me in the hopes to educate them in the finer things in life and meet up with the lovely Juliet, a fellow Wellington Sewing Blogger!
For an hour and a half we took a trip back in time with all the wonderful wares that were available and all for very reasonable prices!
I was a little disappointed with the seeming lack of vintage patterns and fabrics, but there was buttons and trims galore.
I very sad to see that many tables with breakables had cut up (previously uncut) sewing patterns for wrapping items in!
Was very hard not to dive over and try and save them all! Juliet and I really really hopped they were ugly 80’s patterns and not vintage beauties!
Oh how I love all things vintage, I think I could have stayed there all day and spent WAY more then I did.
Finally I will leave you one of the posters they had out on display but sadly not for sale!
